Patient Advisory Committee (PAC)
The Patient Advisory Committee (PAC) is comprised of ESRD patients that represent the ethnic diversity, geographic distribution and treatment modalities of the ESRD population in Texas. When position vacancies arise, all dialysis facilities and transplant centers in Texas are contacted with a request for nominations for the PAC. The primary requirement is that the patient is highly recommended by his/her own physician, nurse, social worker, and dietitian as a positive role model to other patients. The PAC met twice face to face and several times by conference call in 2006.
Please be aware that this is a voluntary committee and the contact information should be used for the sole purpose of contacting PAC members for assistance with patients, support groups or ESRD information/resources.
